FAQ

Do I need a home inspection?

If you are buying or building a home, you are making a large financial investment.  Having an inspection done will let you know if there are underlying issues that will cost you after you have made your investment in a home.

I am building a home should I get it inspected?

It is a common misconception that you do not need to have your newly constructed home inspected.  Do not assume that your builder or the contractors did everything correctly because it passed the code inspection.

Should I attend my home inspection?

It is highly recommended that you attend your home inspection.  Most inspections will take between 2-1/2 to 4 hours depending on the size and age of the home.  This is an excellent opportunity to walk the home with the inspector and see it through her eyes. Questions are welcomed and encouraged.
